I would think so.

Remember there was some story about Tom Brady suing some outfit becuase they used a picture of him without his permission. Same thing would apply here to the question posed, I would guess.

Pretty sure it was used as a promotion if there was a lawsuit. If you're in public or make the photo available you have no legal right to sue. Trust me, it's the business I work in.

It's not so much the pic that bothers Doug, it's the disturbing "Hey, I saw your pic and I want to make sexy time with you" emails he keeps getting from Rob Funk.:thumbsup:

what about any person or website in general?

i had someone take a photo of me at a bar and then posted the pic on a website.

i was fired up about it as nobody ever asked my permission.

could the person who took the photo or the bar itself be sued by me for posting pics of me without my permission?

not that i am going to or would, but just out of curiosity.

It's only illegal if someone steals a pic that you took of yourself. It's 100% legal for someone to take a pic of anyone and put it online.
